Collaborative design project with Tamiko Rast of Rasteroids Design. This logo was applied on banners placed throughout downtown San Jose. The design solution is a logo combining elements of both cities. A Sans Serif typeface was chosen to reflect the tech industry of Silicon Valley, while the rising sun reflects Japan. The paper cranes combine both cultures as a symbol of peace.
